A CONCURRENT RESOLUTION, Appointing Mr. Russell Olson of Pierre, South Dakota, to the Office of Auditor General.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of 4-2-2, the auditor general shall be appointed by a concurrent resolution of the State Legislature; and
WHEREAS, the Executive Board of the Legislative Research Council has recommended the appointment of Russell Olson of Pierre, South Dakota, to fill that position:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the House of Representatives of the Ninety-Sixth Legislature of the State of South Dakota, the Senate concurring therein, that Russell Olson of Pierre, South Dakota, be appointed to the Office of Auditor General, pursuant to the provisions of 4-2-2, for the term of eight years from adoption of this concurrent resolution and until a successor is duly appointed and qualified; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the secretary of the Senate of the State of South Dakota transmit an enrolled copy of this concurrent resolution to Mr. Olson, the secretary of state, and the Governor of the State of South Dakota.
