An Act to revise the motor vehicle license fee for certain older trucks.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of South Dakota:
Section 1. That   32-5-30 be AMENDED:
32-5-30. Fee for older noncommercial vehicles--Limitations.
If any noncommercial motor
vehicle, according to the manufacturer's model year designation, is
ten years old or more on January first of the year for which a
license fee is required, such
the
fee shall be seventy percent of the fee ordinarily prescribed.
However, if any noncommercial motor vehicle subject to the license fee provided in    32-5-6.3 is forty-five years old or more on January first of the year for which a license fee is required and the vehicle is not being licensed for less than twelve months pursuant to    32-5-6.4, the fee may not exceed one hundred fifty dollars.
