AN ACT TO EXTEND THE TAX CREDITS FOR THE PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION OF GEOTHERMAL MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT UNTIL JANUARY 1, 2032.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Geothermal tax credit extension

SECTION     1.     SECTION 2.B. of Act 134 of 2016, as amended by Act 47 of 2019, is amended to read:

B.     The provisions contained in this section related to geothermal machinery and equipment are repealed January 1, 2032.

Time effective

SECTION     2.     This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.

Ratified the 13th day of May, 2021.

Approved the 17th day of May, 2021.
