This bill amends the Fair Employment Practices law by adding new definitions and updating existing ones. It adds definitions for "confidential" and "non-disparagement agreement" and updates the definitions of "age" and "because of sex" to be more inclusive. The bill also prohibits employers from refusing to hire or discriminating against applicants or employees based on various factors, including race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, and age. Employers are also required to reasonably accommodate employees with disabilities and disclose the disposition of internal complaints of workplace harassment.

Additionally, this bill prohibits employers from requiring employees to sign nondisclosure agreements or non-disparagement agreements as a condition of employment. These agreements would cover alleged violations of civil rights or unlawful conduct. Any contract provision in violation of this would be void. The bill includes a definition of "confidential" and would take effect upon passage.
