This bill amends the Fair Employment Practices law by adding new definitions and updating existing ones. It adds definitions for "Confidential" and "Non-disparagement agreement". It also prohibits employers from refusing to hire or discriminating against applicants or employees based on certain protected characteristics. The bill also requires employers to reasonably accommodate employees with disabilities and disclose the disposition of internal complaints alleging workplace harassment. Additionally, the bill prohibits employers from requiring employees to sign nondisclosure agreements or non-disparagement agreements regarding alleged violations of civil rights or unlawful conduct as a condition of employment.
