This bill, relating to tax relief in the town of Jamestown, would provide a tax abatement of up to $2,000 to Jamestown emergency medical services providers and firefighters based on their years of service, quantity of calls responded to, and number of training hours. This tax relief would also be transferrable to a surviving spouse until remarriage or death.

Section 3 of the bill would take effect upon passage, and the remaining sections would take effect if and when the electors of Jamestown vote to accept the act.
