Pennsylvania law has long protected voters from interference and intimidation by generally prohibiting law enforcement officers from being within 100 feet of a polling place on Election Day, subject to limited exceptions. This legislation simply states explicitly that this existing protection applies to all federal, state, and local law enforcement officers and agents.
Pennsylvania voters deserve to cast their ballots free from interference and intimidation. That is why we ask that you join us in clarifying and reinforcing the protections currently in place by co-sponsoring this important proposal.
