AN ACT
1 Amending the act of July 11, 2024 (P.L. , No.1A), entitled "An
2 act to provide appropriations from the General Fund for the
3 expenses of the Executive, Legislative and Judicial
4 Departments of the Commonwealth, the public debt and the
5 public schools for the fiscal year July 1, 2024, to June 30,
6 2025, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
7 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024;
8 to provide appropriations from special funds and accounts to
9 the Executive and Judicial Departments for the fiscal year
10 July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and for the payment of bills
11 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June
12 30, 2024; to provide for the appropriation of Federal funds
13 to the Executive and Judicial Departments for the fiscal year
14 July 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025, and for the payment of bills
15 remaining unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June
16 30, 2024; and to provide for the additional appropriation of
17 Federal and State funds to the Executive and Legislative
18 Departments for the fiscal year July 1, 2023, to June 30,
19 2024, and for the payment of bills incurred and remaining
20 unpaid at the close of the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023,"
21 in State Lottery Fund appropriations, further providing for
22 an appropriation to the Department of Aging.
23 The General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
24 hereby enacts as follows:
25 Section 1. Section 301 of the act of July 11, 2024 (P.L. ,
26 No.1A), known as the General Appropriation Act of 2024, is
27 amended to read:

2 appropriated from the State Lottery
3 Fund to the Department of Aging for
4 the current fiscal year: Federal State
5 For general government
6 operations of the Department of
7 Aging.
8 State appropriation....... 14,818,000
9 For PENNCARE for older
10 Pennsylvanians for the purpose of
11 developing, operating and
12 purchasing services for the aged
13 and other adults, including, but
14 not limited to, model projects,
15 community care services, audits of
16 area agencies on aging, protective
17 services and counseling services.

4 Section 2. This act shall apply retroactively to July 1,
