                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Elizabeth Baumgartner for outstanding service to
              the State of Ohio.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Elizabeth           2
Baumgartner for her loyal service to the Ohio Senate; and                3
     WHEREAS, Throughout Elizabeth Baumgartner’s distinguished tenure,   4
she has demonstrated an unwavering dedication to performing her duties   5
and fulfilling her responsibilities with the utmost diligence and        6
competence. Starting as a page for Senator Matt Dolan in 2018, she       7
served fifteen months in various offices for the Ohio House of           8
Representatives before returning to the Senate as Senator Dolan’s aide   9
in 2021 and becoming his senior legislative aide later that year. In     10
her work, she has been instrumental in maintaining the efficiency and    11
effectiveness of the legislative process and in ensuring that our        12
state continues to uphold the ideals that are embodied in our            13
constitution and in the laws enacted under it; and                       14
     WHEREAS, The expertise and professionalism Elizabeth Baumgartner    15
has shown in her endeavors have gained her the admiration and esteem     16
of all those with whom she has been associated. As she reflects on her   17
service with the Ohio General Assembly staff, she has the satisfaction   18
of knowing that she has provided a valuable service to the state, and    19
her record of achievement will stand as a hallmark for others to         20
emulate; and                                                             21
     WHEREAS, Elizabeth Baumgartner’s contributions to the State of      22
Ohio have been greatly appreciated by everyone who has had the           23
pleasure of working with her. She has displayed exceptional devotion,    24
responsibility, and enthusiasm over the years, and we offer best         25
wishes as she begins a new chapter in her estimable career; therefore    26

     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     28
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Elizabeth           29
Baumgartner for her exemplary public service and applaud her as a fine     30
Ohioan; and be it further                                                  31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                32
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Elizabeth Baumgartner.            33
