                       A RESOLUTION
                    Honoring the Ashland Golf Club
                  on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Ashland       2
Golf Club on the celebration of its One Hundredth Anniversary, May 28,   3
2023; and                                                                4
     WHEREAS, The Ashland Golf Club is, indeed, deserving of             5
recognition, for throughout a century of operation, it has attained a    6
noteworthy record of accomplishment. In the decades since its            7
establishment, the club has become a favored destination for all         8
manner of golfers, and its unique course of tree-lined fairways and      9
well-manicured greens has long been a preferred venue for both state     10
tournaments and traveling leagues; and                                   11
     WHEREAS, The noteworthy success of the Ashland Golf Club is         12
attributable largely to the loyal service of its qualified and           13
committed staff, as well as to the innovation and foresight of its       14
management. Their combined efforts have earned the venture a well-       15
deserved reputation for excellence and have distinguished the            16
organization as a worthy enterprise that has contributed greatly to      17
the area’s economic well-being; and                                      18
     WHEREAS, As the members and employees of the Ashland Golf Club      19
commemorate this milestone, they can reflect with pride on the           20
accomplishments of the past and look forward to a rewarding future.      21
Indeed, they have convincingly demonstrated how very much can be         22
accomplished by a group of conscientious people with clear objectives    23
and firm resolve, and we applaud their tremendous efforts; therefore     24

As Adopted by the House
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,          27
congratulate the Ashland Golf Club on this memorable event and extend     28
best wishes for the years to come; and be it further                      29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Ashland Golf Club. 31
