                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Warren City Federation of Women’s Clubs on
              its Centennial.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Warren City Federation of       2
Women’s Clubs on the auspicious occasion of its One Hundredth             3
Anniversary; and                                                          4
     WHEREAS, One hundred years is a distinctive milestone on which the   5
Warren City Federation of Women’s Clubs can enthusiastically celebrate    6
its mission to enrich the community with philanthropic, educational,      7
cultural, civic, and social activities. Founded on May 18, 1923, this     8
iconic nonprofit has remained a relevant resource for Trumbull County,    9
and it has become a fine example for other such charitable groups to      10
emulate; and                                                              11
     WHEREAS, One of the many reasons that the State of Ohio continues    12
to grow and prosper is because of such organizations as the Warren        13
City Federation of Women’s Clubs. The group has certainly paid homage     14
to its long and distinguished history through its successful outreach     15
initiatives that benefit the surrounding area and its residents; and      16
     WHEREAS, The contributors to the Warren City Federation of Women’s   17
Clubs can always be relied upon to favor a worthy cause, and these        18
exceptional people have made a lasting impact on the community through    19
their admirable resolve and vision. We look with optimism to a future     20
that will thrive due in part to their ongoing, meaningful efforts;        21
therefore be it                                                           22
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General    23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Warren City    24
Federation of Women’s Clubs on its One Hundredth Anniversary and          25

salute its leadership and members as fine Ohioans; and be it further       26
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                27
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Warren City Federation of     28
Women’s Clubs.                                                             29
