                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Beavercreek Township on its Two Hundred Twentieth
              Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to recognize Beavercreek Township on the jubilant    2
occasion of its Two Hundred Twentieth Anniversary; and                   3
     WHEREAS, Over the past two hundred twenty years, Beavercreek has    4
experienced dramatic growth and change, and yet, commendably, it still   5
radiates vitality, optimism, and a charm all its own. Since its          6
inception in 1803, the township has adapted to meet each new             7
challenge, and clearly, the community’s outstanding school system,       8
remarkable businesses, and astute civic organizations both embody and    9
thrive upon the values of which our flag is an emblem; and               10
     WHEREAS, Even as they have exuberantly embraced the promise of a    11
bright future, the residents of Beavercreek have never relinquished      12
their appreciation for the worthiest virtues of the past. Indeed, they   13
have managed to nurture a fresh perspective and a positive outlook       14
that continues to endear this distinctive place to all who know it       15
well; and                                                                16
     WHEREAS, Every state depends upon such vibrant, durable             17
communities as Beavercreek for its own survival and stability.           18
Although it has known adversity and tribulation, it also has been        19
favored with its share of blessings. In the years to come, Beavercreek   20
is sure to remain on its admirable course and to continue to transform   21
challenges into opportunities; therefore be it                           22
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General   23
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, extend our                24
congratulations to Beavercreek Township as it commemorates its Two       25

As Adopted by the Senate
Hundred Twentieth Anniversary and offer our best wishes for its            26
perennial good fortune; and be it further                                  27
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                28
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Beavercreek Township.             29
