                       A RESOLUTION
 Honoring the Buchtel Community Learning Center boys basketball team
               as the 2023 Division II State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Buchtel         2
Community Learning Center boys basketball team on winning the 2023       3
Division II State Championship; and                                      4
     WHEREAS, Known as a driven and spirited squad, the members of the   5
Buchtel Community Learning Center boys basketball team have developed    6
into an efficient group of highly skilled athletes whose talent is       7
equaled only by their commendable display of teamwork. Their             8
achievements are a justifiable source of pride not only for them but     9
also for their families, their coach, their school, and their            10
community; and                                                           11
     WHEREAS, The members of the Buchtel Community Learning Center       12
boys basketball team have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm,    13
and dedication in all of their endeavors, and their athletic prowess     14
is reflected in bringing home the first state championship in program    15
history. Indeed, the Griffins have established themselves as winners,    16
both in and out of competition, and they are certainly deserving of      17
high praise; and                                                         18
     WHEREAS, The members of the Buchtel Community Learning Center       19
boys basketball team have exemplified the qualities necessary for        20
excellence in sports, including strength, stamina, agility, and          21
perseverance. Through their participation in athletic competition,       22
these fine players have learned lessons of hard work and good            23
sportsmanship that will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them          24
throughout their lives; therefore be it                                  25

     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,          27
commend the Buchtel Community Learning Center boys basketball team on     28
its tremendous season and salute the athletes and coach as some of        29
Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further                                 30
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 31
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Buchtel Community  32
Learning Center boys basketball team.                                  33
