                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Glenville High School cheerleading team as a
              2023 OASSA State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to the Glenville       2
High School cheerleading team on winning the non-tumbling medium title   3
at the 2023 Ohio Association of Secondary School Administrators State    4
Cheer and Dance Championships; and                                       5
     WHEREAS, The talented athletes of the Glenville High School         6
cheerleading team are, indeed, to be commended for their remarkable      7
fitness and competitive drive, qualities that have figured prominently   8
in the squad’s impressive performance at this year’s OASSA State Cheer   9
and Dance Championships. To their credit, the members could always be    10
counted on to execute even the most demanding routines with agility,     11
precision, exuberance, and grace; and                                    12
     WHEREAS, Under the expert guidance of their coaches, the members    13
of the Glenville High School cheerleading team have trained tirelessly   14
in order to ensure peak physical and mental conditioning, and their      15
exceptional prowess has earned them many admirers. Participation in      16
this sport has enabled them to learn much about creative expression,     17
discipline, and dedication, and clearly, the experience they have        18
acquired is certain to benefit them in the years to come; and            19
     WHEREAS, Their enthusiastic spirit and love of sports has led all   20
those who comprise the Glenville High School cheerleading team to        21
approach athletic challenges with integrity, and they have served as     22
an inspiration to their peers. This statewide accomplishment is a        23
justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection not only on      24
them but also on their families, their coaches, their school, and        25
their community; therefore be it                                         26

As Adopted by the Senate
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General        27
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud the Glenville          28
High School cheerleading team on an outstanding showing at the 2023           29
OASSA State Cheer and Dance Championships and offer best wishes for           30
ongoing success; and be it further                                            31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                   32
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Glenville High School            33
cheerleading team.                                                            34
