                       A RESOLUTION
                 Honoring the Columbiana Rotary Club
                  on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to applaud the Columbiana Rotary  2
Club on the celebration of its Centennial, observed April 4, 2023; and 3
     WHEREAS, A one hundredth anniversary is a distinctive milestone,    4
and it affords the opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable             5
philanthropic work done by the Columbiana Rotary Club. An outstanding    6
affiliate of Rotary International, the organization has a long and       7
distinguished history of civic service, including such projects as       8
building structures in Firestone Park, raising funds to support youth    9
programs and student scholarships, and organizing the annual Foster      10
Children’s Picnic, and through its numerous initiatives, it has helped   11
shape a brighter future; and                                             12
     WHEREAS, The diligent efforts of people such as those affiliated    13
with the Columbiana Rotary Club, both past and present, are one of       14
many reasons that the State of Ohio continues to grow and prosper.       15
Through their involvement with various beneficial programs and           16
activities, the members of this praiseworthy group have not only had     17
the chance to express their personal talents and skills, but they have   18
also helped to better the lives of those around them; and                19
     WHEREAS, The many individuals who have supported the Columbiana     20
Rotary Club are, indeed, to be commended for their foresight,            21
dedication, and selfless donations of time, energy, and ability far      22
beyond what was required or expected. These fine Ohioans have            23
displayed initiative and concern for others, and they have left a        24
lasting impact on the area; therefore be it                              25

As Adopted by the House
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    26
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, pay      27
tribute to the Columbiana Rotary Club on its Centennial and offer best    28
wishes for the years to come; and be it further                           29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 30
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Columbiana Rotary  31
Club.                                                                  32
