                        A RESOLUTION
                         Honoring Chris Baird
      as the 2021-2022 Girls Wrestling State Coach of the Year.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Chris Baird on      2
being named the 2021-2022 State Coach of the Year in girls wrestling     3
by the Ohio High School Athletic Association; and                        4
     WHEREAS, As the girls wrestling coach at Harrison High School,      5
Chris Baird has demonstrated remarkable integrity and dedication.        6
Throughout the 2021-2022 season, he not only encouraged his athletes     7
to develop their talents to the fullest but also instilled in each a     8
valuable sense of determination, perseverance, camaraderie, and          9
spirit, and as a result, he led the Wildcats to win the 2022 Ohio High   10
School Wrestling Coaches Association State Team Championship as well     11
as two individual state titles; and                                      12
     WHEREAS, The expertise, guidance, and sound judgment of coaches     13
such as Chris Baird are critical to the ultimate success of any          14
athletic endeavor. Due largely to his tireless efforts, the Wildcats     15
have emerged as winners, both in and out of competition, and he has      16
earned the genuine respect and admiration of many for his fantastic      17
work; and                                                                18
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role   19
in the total education of our young people, we are pleased to pay        20
tribute to Chris Baird for a job well done. His outstanding rapport      21
with his wrestlers, as well as with his fellow coaches, has been a       22
vital factor in the Wildcats’ accomplishments, and he is certainly       23
deserving of high praise; therefore be it                                24
    RESOLVED,   That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 25

As Adopted by the House
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
commend Chris Baird on his state accolade and extend best wishes for       27
the future; and be it further                                              28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Chris Baird.           30
