                       A RESOLUTION
           Honoring the New Bremen High School football team
               as the 2022 Division VII State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 135th   1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the New Bremen      2
High School football team on winning the 2022 Division VII State         3
Championship; and                                                        4
     WHEREAS, Known as a driven and spirited squad, the members of the   5
New Bremen High School football team have developed into an efficient    6
group of truly tremendous athletes whose skill on the gridiron is        7
equaled only by their commendable display of teamwork. Their             8
achievements are a justifiable source of pride not only for them but     9
also for their families, their coaches, including Head Coach Chris       10
Schmidt, and the entire community; and                                   11
     WHEREAS, Each member of the New Bremen High School football team    12
is, indeed, an exceptional athlete, successfully combining personal      13
ability and spirit with the highest ideals of good sportsmanship. As a   14
result of each player’s athletic prowess, the Cardinals beat a tough     15
Warren John F. Kennedy squad by a score of 38-6 to win the Division      16
VII state title and completed the season with an impressive 13-3         17
record, distinguishing themselves as one of the finest teams in Ohio;    18

     WHEREAS, Few sports embody the spirit of teamwork more than         20
football, and teams such as the one from New Bremen High School          21
exemplify the qualities necessary for excellence in sports, including    22
strength, stamina, agility, and perseverance. Throughout long hours of   23
practice and competition, the Cardinals have consistently demonstrated   24
the talent and motivation that are the hallmarks of a championship       25
squad; therefore be it                                                   26

As Adopted by the House
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of    27
the 135th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,          28
commend the New Bremen High School football team on securing the 2022     29
Division VII State Championship and salute the members as fine            30
athletes; and be it further                                               31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 32
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the New Bremen High    33
School football team.                                                  34
