                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring Terri Simonetti Frost as a 2021-2022 National        1
              Coach of the Year.                                          2
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 135th General Assembly     3
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Terri Simonetti Frost on being        4
named the 2021-2022 National Coach of the Year in the other girls         5
sports category by the National Federation of State High School           6
Associations Coaches Association; and                                     7
     WHEREAS, As the head field hockey coach at Thomas Worthington High   8
School since 1999, Terri Simonetti Frost has demonstrated remarkable      9
energy, enthusiasm, and dedication in leading her teams to victory.       10
Under her capable guidance, the Cardinals have become a premier           11
program, and her exceptional skill is reflected not only in her           12
selection as a Coach of the Year by ThisWeek News, the Ohio High          13
School Athletic Association, and the National Federation of State High    14
School Associations Coaches Association but also in the squad's           15
tremendous success, including winning the 2022 State Championship. She    16
is certainly deserving of high praise; and                                17
     WHEREAS, Throughout the 2022 season, Terri Simonetti Frost has not   18
only encouraged each player to develop her talents to the fullest, but    19
she has also instilled in each a valuable sense of determination,         20
perseverance, camaraderie, and school spirit. Her tireless efforts at     21
the helm of the Cardinals' field hockey program have earned her the       22
genuine respect and admiration of many; and                               23
     WHEREAS, With athletic competition playing such an important role    24
in the total education of our young people, we are overjoyed to pay       25
tribute to Coach Simonetti Frost for mentoring her fine players. She      26
has certainly been instrumental to her team developing maturity, and      27

her knowledge and integrity have brought pride to the Thomas               28
Worthington school community; therefore be it                              29
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 135th General     30
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Terri Simonetti     31
Frost on her recent accolade and extend best wishes for continued          32
success; and be it further                                                 33
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                34
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Terri Simonetti Frost.            35
