                       A RESOLUTION
                        Honoring Steeler Leep
      as a 2022 Ohio High School Heisman Scholarship recipient.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate Steeler Leep on   2
winning the boys 2022 High School Heisman Scholarship for Ohio; and    3
     WHEREAS, A senior at Fairland High School, Steeler Leep has         4
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest academic         5
standards to establish himself as a truly exceptional student athlete.   6
With admirable dedication, he has worked diligently toward attaining     7
ultimate proficiency in all of his endeavors, and as a result, he has    8
excelled in sports, becoming a four-year letterman and captain of the    9
FHS football team as well as a four-year letterman on the basketball     10
team; and                                                                11
     WHEREAS, Steeler Leep has demonstrated great leadership not only    12
in athletic competition but also in the classroom. To his credit, he     13
was ranked second in his class and served as class president, and he     14
has involved himself in numerous extracurricular clubs and               15
organizations. His success is a justifiable source of pride and an       16
outstanding reflection on him as well as his family, his teachers, his   17
school, and his hometown. With an unwavering commitment to excellence,   18
he has earned the respect and esteem of many and is certainly worthy     19
of praise; and                                                           20
     WHEREAS, We are overjoyed to pay tribute to Steeler Leep on his     21
exemplary high school career, and the maturity and experience he has     22
gained through his impressive participation in sports and his stalwart   23
academic achievements will greatly aid him in meeting the challenges     24
of the future. It is our sincere hope that his tireless efforts will     25
inspire other young people to dedicate themselves similarly; therefore   26

     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 28
the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,       29
commend Steeler Leep on being selected for this prestigious accolade   30
and salute him as one of Ohio’s finest young citizens; and be it       31
further                                                                32
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 33
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to Steeler Leep.          34
