                       A RESOLUTION
    Honoring the Toledo Central Catholic High School football team
               as the 2022 Division II State Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Toledo        2
Central Catholic High School football team on winning the 2022         3
Division II State Championship; and                                    4
     WHEREAS, Known as a driven and spirited squad, the Toledo Central   5
Catholic High School football team has developed into an efficient       6
group of highly skilled athletes whose talent is equaled only by their   7
commendable display of teamwork. Their achievements are a justifiable    8
source of pride not only for them but also for their families, their     9
coach, Greg Dempsey, their school, and their community; and              10
     WHEREAS, The members of the Toledo Central Catholic High School     11
football team have demonstrated remarkable energy, enthusiasm, and       12
dedication in all of their endeavors, and their athletic prowess is      13
reflected in their outstanding success. Indeed, the Irish have           14
established themselves as winners, both in and out of competition, and   15
they are certainly deserving of high praise; and                         16
     WHEREAS, The members of the Toledo Central Catholic High School     17
football team have exemplified the qualities necessary for excellence    18
in sports, including strength, stamina, agility, and perseverance.       19
Through their participation in athletic competition, these fine          20
players have learned lessons of hard work and good sportsmanship that    21
will undoubtedly be of great benefit to them throughout their lives;     22
therefore be it                                                          23
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 24
the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,       25

applaud the Toledo Central Catholic High School football team on its       26
tremendous season and salute the athletes and coach as some of Ohio’s      27
finest citizens; and be it further                                         28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Toledo Central     30
Catholic High School football team.                                    31
