                        A RESOLUTION
                   Honoring the Fernbank Garden Club
                   on its One Hundredth Anniversary.
     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the 134th 1
General Assembly of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to the Fernbank    2
Garden Club on its Centennial, commemorated July 30, 2022; and         3
     WHEREAS, The Fernbank Garden Club has made numerous significant     4
contributions that have enhanced the quality of life in the area, and    5
it has earned the well-deserved respect and appreciation of many. The    6
fine reputation that this noteworthy group has gained is a credit to     7
the enthusiastic individuals whose efforts have made the club a          8
dynamic force in the community; and                                      9
     WHEREAS, The oldest continuously active garden club in              10
Cincinnati, the Fernbank Garden Club has been dedicated to the           11
neighborhood of Village of Sayler Park for the past century, and it is   12
through the work of initiatives such as this that Ohio has gained a      13
reputation as a state whose residents are always ready to extend a       14
helping hand. Indeed, the organization’s unwavering commitment to the    15
highest standards of community service will ensure that it will          16
continue its tradition of excellence long into the future; and           17
     WHEREAS, Through the many beneficial programs and activities of     18
The Fernbank Garden Club, its members, supporters, and volunteers have   19
not only had the opportunity to express their personal talents and       20
skills but also to better the lives of those around them. All those      21
who have been involved with the club’s mission are to be commended for   22
their tremendous efforts to help others, and they are deserving of the   23
highest praise; therefore be it                                          24
    RESOLVED,   That we, the members of the House of Representatives of 25

As Offered
the 134th General Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution,           26
congratulate the Fernbank Garden Club on its One Hundredth Anniversary     27
and salute all those celebrating this milestone; and be it further         28
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the House of Representatives transmit 29
a duly authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Fernbank Garden    30
Club.                                                                  31
