A RESOLUTION
Honoring Michele Hulse for outstanding service to the
State of Ohio.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to extend special recognition to Michele Hulse on 2
your retirement from the Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board; and 3
WHEREAS, Michele Hulse is a remarkable individual, for she has 4
combined civic concern and dedication with selfless initiative as the 5
finance and human resources assistant director of the Capitol Square 6
Review and Advisory Board, where she served for the past sixteen 7
years. A former member of the staff of the Ohio Senate and the Ohio 8
House of Representatives, she previously held the posts of president 9
of the Controlling Board and deputy director of the Office of Budget 10
and Management, and she has performed her duties and fulfilled her 11
responsibilities with the utmost efficiency and competence throughout 12
her career. She certainly is deserving of high praise; and 13
WHEREAS, During her tenure, Michele Hulse has given generously of 14
her time, energy, and abilities to facilitate the operation of the 15
Ohio General Assembly and has demonstrated a noteworthy commitment to 16
preserving the historical integrity of the Capitol Square Complex. 17
Indeed, she has provided a valuable service by helping maintain the 18
character of Capitol Square, and her efforts have always reflected a 19
genuine interest in benefiting her fellow Ohioans; and 20

WHEREAS, Michele Hulse’s contributions to the State of Ohio have 21
been greatly appreciated by all those who have had the pleasure of 22
working with her. She has displayed exceptional devotion, 23
responsibility, and enthusiasm in her endeavors, and we offer best 24
wishes for health and happiness in her retirement; therefore be it 25
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General 26
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend Michele Hulse 27
on her exemplary state service and salute her as one of Ohio’s finest 28
citizens; and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly 30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Michele Hulse. 31
