A RESOLUTION
Honoring Carleigh Horwath and Anthony Trapletti as 2022
SkillsUSA State Champions.
WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly 1
of Ohio are pleased to pay tribute to Carleigh Horwath and Anthony 2
Trapletti on winning the gold medal in the emergency medical 3
technician event at the 2022 SkillsUSA state competition; and 4
WHEREAS, Carleigh Horwath and Anthony Trapletti have admirably 5
represented the Polaris Career Center at this year’s SkillsUSA State 6
Championship, and as a result of their unparalleled talent and 7
technique, they secured first place in the emergency medical 8
technician event. Their tenacity in the face of competition is an 9
indication of the pride they take in their work, and they have 10
certainly distinguished themselves as conscientious and hard-working 11
Ohioans; and 12
WHEREAS, The commitment to excellence displayed by Carleigh 13
Horwath and Anthony Trapletti has gained them the esteem of their 14
peers and their teachers, who have empowered their development and 15
achievement. We commend this outstanding duo on their exemplary work, 16
for they have convincingly demonstrated how much can be accomplished 17
by conscientious students with clear objectives and firm resolve; and 18
WHEREAS, Carleigh Horwath and Anthony Trapletti have shown 19
remarkable self-discipline, perseverance, and resolve in the pursuit 20
of their goals. The knowledge and self-confidence they have gained 21
through their participation in programs such as SkillsUSA will no 22
doubt be of great benefit to them in the years to come, and we applaud 23
them on their tremendous efforts; therefore be it 24
RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General 25

As Introduced
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, we commend Carleigh 26
Horwath and Anthony Trapletti on their recent accolade and look with 27
optimism to a future that is impacted by their impressive promise and 28
potential; and be it further 29
RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit duly authenticated 30
copies of this Resolution to Carleigh Horwath and Anthony Trapletti. 31
