                       A RESOLUTION
            Honoring the Dublin Girls Rugby Club as the 2022 State
              Champion.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly     1
of Ohio are pleased to congratulate the Dublin Girls Rugby Club on        2
winning the 2022 State Championship; and                                  3
     WHEREAS, A remarkable group of young individuals who represent       4
Dublin City Schools, the members of the Dublin Girls Rugby Club have      5
combined talent and competitive spirit with the highest ideals of good    6
sportsmanship to establish themselves as truly exceptional athletes.      7
With admirable dedication, they have worked diligently toward             8
attaining ultimate proficiency in rugby, and as a result, they            9
defeated tough opposition to win this year’s State Championship title;    10
and                                                                       11
     WHEREAS, The Dublin Girls Rugby Club’s achievements and leadership   12
are a justifiable source of pride and an excellent reflection on the      13
players, their families, their community, and their coaches. The          14
success of any athletic endeavor depends largely on the ability of the    15
coaches to provide both guidance and inspiration, and in leading their    16
team to victory, the fine people behind the team have not only helped     17
the players develop their talents to the fullest but also instilled in    18
them a valuable sense of determination, perseverance, and camaraderie;    19
and                                                                       20
     WHEREAS, With competition playing such an important role in the      21
total education of our young people, we are extremely pleased to pay      22
tribute to these exemplary athletes and their outstanding coaches for     23
a job well done. The maturity and experience the members of the Dublin    24
Girls Rugby Club have gained through their participation in sports        25
will greatly aid them in meeting the challenges of the future;            26

therefore be it                                                            27
     RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General     28
Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, commend the Dublin          29
Girls Rugby Club on its tremendous 2022 season and salute the players      30
and coaches as some of Ohio’s finest citizens; and be it further           31
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                32
authenticated copy of this Resolution to the Dublin Girls Rugby Club.      33
