                       A RESOLUTION
           Honoring Chloe Dearwester on winning a 2022 State
              Wrestling Championship.
     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the 134th General Assembly    1
of Ohio are pleased to recognize Chloe Dearwester as the 2022 Ohio       2
High School Wrestling Coaches Association Girls State Champion in the    3
105-pound weight class; and                                              4
     WHEREAS, Displaying exceptional form, ability, leadership, and      5
dedication during the 2021-2022 season, Chloe Dearwester has certainly   6
distinguished herself as one of the most gifted wrestlers in the         7
state. A sophomore member of the William Henry Harrison High School      8
girls wrestling team, she demonstrated her drive and skill when she      9
won the 105-pound title at this year’s OHSWCA Girls State Tournament,    10
and she is deserving of her second consecutive crown; and                11
     WHEREAS, Throughout intense training and preparation, Chloe         12
Dearwester has consistently exhibited the talent, integrity, and         13
motivation that are the hallmarks of a true champion. Indeed, she has    14
inspired her teammates, thrilled her fans, gained the respect of her     15
opponents, and made her family, her coaches, and her community very      16
proud; and                                                               17
     WHEREAS, Participation in wrestling has enabled Chloe Dearwester    18
to learn much about commitment, self-discipline, and leadership.         19
Commendably, she has revealed the agility, strength, and stamina that    20
befit a standout athlete, and it is no surprise that she has won so      21
many admirers. The remarkable enthusiasm and resolve she has shown as    22
a wrestler will be of great benefit as she forges a bright, promising    23
future; therefore be it                                                  24
    RESOLVED, That we, the members of the Senate of the 134th General    25

Assembly of Ohio, in adopting this Resolution, applaud Chloe               26
Dearwester as the 2022 Ohio High School Wrestling Coaches Association      27
Girls State Champion in the 105-pound weight class and salute her as a     28
fine Ohio citizen; and be it further                                       29
     RESOLVED, That the Clerk of the Senate transmit a duly                30
authenticated copy of this Resolution to Chloe Dearwester.                 31
