This bill removes the prohibition on front windshield tinted glass. It amends current law to allow vehicles to have front windshield tinting, as long as it has at least 90 percent visible light transmittance. The bill also removes the prohibition on after-market tinting on the windshield and allows for special permits for individuals who require after-market tinting for medical reasons. The Department of Safety states that this bill will have no impact on state, county, or local revenue or expenditures.
