STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
In the Year of Our Lord Two Thousand Twenty One
AN ACT proclaiming the daring jumping spider to be the state spider of New Hampshire.
Be it Enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court convened:
1 1 New Section; State Spider. Amend RSA 3 by inserting after section 30 the following new
2 section:
3 3:31 State Spider. The daring jumping spider (Phidippus audax) is hereby designated as the
4 official state spider of New Hampshire.
5 2 Effective Date. This act shall take effect upon its passage.
