1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state legislative intent
2 to appropriate funds to the Department of Health and Human Services
3 to fund the designated health information exchange; and to declare
4 an emergency.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate (1)
2 $5,331,423 from the General Fund for FY2023-24 and (2) $5,331,423 from
3 the General Fund for FY2024-25 to the Department of Health and Human
4 Services, Agency 25, for Program 33, for the purpose of funding the
5 designated health information exchange as defined in section 81-6,124.
6 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
7 passed and approved according to law.
