1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to the State Lottery Act; to amend section
2 9-829, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska; to remove the
3 prohibition that a lottery ticket cannot be sold through a vending
4 or dispensing device; and to repeal the original section.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. Section 9-829, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska, is
2 amended to read:
3 9-829 A lottery game retailer shall sell tickets only on the
4 premises stated in the contract. No ticket shall be sold over a telephone
5 or through the mail. No credit shall be extended by the lottery game
6 retailer for the purchase of a ticket. No lottery tickets shall be sold
7 through a vending or dispensing device.
8 Sec. 2. Original section 9-829, Reissue Revised Statutes of
9 Nebraska, is repealed.
