1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to education; to provide state funding to
2 cover the education costs of certain students if an educational
3 facility for handicapped students closes as prescribed.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. If a student attends an educational facility designated
2 for handicapped students in a school district that is not the resident
3 school district of such student and such educational facility closes, the
4 state shall cover the cost for education of such student for one school
5 year from the General Fund.
