1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to education; to create a fund to provide
2 state aid for public education as prescribed.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. (1) The State Aid to Public Education Fund is created.
2 It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate two hundred thousand
3 dollars from the General Fund to the State Aid to Public Education Fund.
4 The fund shall be used to provide state aid for public education in this
5 state.
6 (2) Any money in the fund available for investment shall be invested
7 by the state investment officer pursuant to the Nebraska Capital
8 Expansion Act and the Nebraska State Funds Investment Act.
