1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to courts; to amend sections 33-107.03,
2 33-154, and 33-155, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska; to change
3 the amounts of certain court fees; and to repeal the original
4 sections.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. Section 33-107.03, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska,
2 is amended to read:
3 33-107.03 In addition to all other court costs assessed according to
4 law, a court automation fee of ten eight dollars shall be taxed as costs
5 for each case filed in each county court, separate juvenile court, and
6 district court, including appeals to such courts, and for each appeal and
7 original action filed in the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. The
8 fees shall be remitted to the State Treasurer on forms prescribed by the
9 State Treasurer within ten days after the end of each month. The State
10 Treasurer shall credit the fees to the Supreme Court Automation Cash
11 Fund.
12 Sec. 2. Section 33-154, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska, is
13 amended to read:
14 33-154 In addition to all other court costs assessed according to
15 law, a training fee of two dollars one dollar shall be taxed as costs for
16 each case filed in each county court and district court, including
17 appeals to such courts, and for each appeal and original action filed in
18 the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. The fees shall be remitted to
19 the State Treasurer on forms prescribed by the State Treasurer within ten
20 days after the end of each month. The State Treasurer shall credit the
21 fees to the Supreme Court Education Fund.
22 Sec. 3. Section 33-155, Reissue Revised Statutes of Nebraska, is
23 amended to read:
24 33-155 In addition to all other court costs assessed according to
25 law, a dispute resolution fee of one dollar and fifty seventy-five cents
26 shall be taxed as costs for each case filed in each county court and
27 district court, including appeals to such courts, and for each appeal and
28 original action filed in the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court. The
29 fees shall be remitted to the State Treasurer on forms prescribed by the
30 State Treasurer within ten days after the end of each month. The State
31 Treasurer shall credit the fees to the Dispute Resolution Cash Fund.

1 Sec. 4. Original sections 33-107.03, 33-154, and 33-155, Reissue
2 Revised Statutes of Nebraska, are repealed.
