1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent regarding
2 appropriations for law enforcement training and certification.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. It is the intent of the Legislature to appropriate one
2 hundred forty thousand dollars from the General Fund to the Nebraska
3 Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice for each of fiscal
4 years 2021-22 and 2022-23 for in-person and online training for law
5 enforcement officers to be certified through an accreditation agency
6 approved by the Nebraska Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal
7 Justice.
