2 Department of Health and Human Services for competency restoration
3 treatment as prescribed.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $500,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2020-21 and (2) $500,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2021-22 to the Department of Health and Human Services for competency
4 restoration treatment provided in appropriate contract facilities or by
5 appropriate providers pursuant to alternative treatment plans under
6 subsection (5) of section 29-1823 and for any necessary related
7 administrative purposes.
