1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to the Health Care Quality Improvement Act; to
2 amend section 71-7910.01, Revised Statutes Supplement, 2019; to
3 redefine a term; and to repeal the original section.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. Section 71-7910.01, Revised Statutes Supplement, 2019, is
2 amended to read:
3 71-7910.01 Professional health care service entity means an entity
4 which is organized under the Nebraska Nonprofit Corporation Act, for
5 purposes of rendering professional services pursuant to the Nebraska
6 Professional Corporation Act, the Nebraska Uniform Limited Liability
7 Company Act, or the Uniform Partnership Act of 1998 and which renders
8 health care services through individuals credentialed under the Uniform
9 Credentialing Act.
10 Sec. 2. Original section 71-7910.01, Revised Statutes Supplement,
11 2019, is repealed.
