3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $2,500,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2020-21 and (2) $2,500,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2021-22 to the Board of Regents of the University of Nebraska to
4 provide funds to the University of Nebraska Daughtery Water for Food
5 Institute to support water and agricultural research and existing
6 collaborative initiatives to implement best practices in water
7 conservation.
