1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to the
2 Supreme Court for problem-solving courts for mental health.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $617,788 from the
2 General Fund for FY2020-21, (2) $767,788 from the General Fund for
3 FY2021-22, and (3) $767,788 from the General Fund for FY2022-23, to the
4 Supreme Court, for Program 420, to provide for a pilot program for
5 problem-solving courts for mental health.
6 Total expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per
7 diems from funds appropriated in this section shall not exceed $416,708
8 for FY2020-21, $416,708 for FY2021-22, or $416,708 for FY2022-23.
9 There is included in the appropriation to this program for FY2021-22
10 $150,000 General Funds for evaluation of the problem-solving courts for
11 mental health, which shall only be used for such purpose. There is
12 included in the appropriation to this program for FY2022-23 $150,000
13 General Funds for evaluation of the problem-solving courts for mental
14 health, which shall only be used for such purpose.
