1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to the
2 Commission on Public Advocacy for Legal Education for Public Service
3 and Rural Practice Loan Repayment Assistance aid; and to declare an
4 emergency.
5 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated (1) $150,000 from the
2 General Fund for FY2019-20 and (2) $150,000 from the General Fund for
3 FY2020-21 to the Commission on Public Advocacy, for Program 430, for
4 Legal Education for Public Service and Rural Practice Loan Repayment
5 Assistance aid.
6 No expenditures for permanent and temporary salaries and per diems
7 for state employees shall be made from funds appropriated in this
8 section.
9 There is included in the appropriation to this program for FY2019-20
10 $150,000 General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used for such
11 purpose. There is included in the appropriation to this program for
12 FY2020-21 $150,000 General Funds for state aid, which shall only be used
13 for such purpose.
14 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
15 passed and approved according to law.
