1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to insurance; to provide for the legal effect
2 of certain publications concerning liability insurance; and to
3 declare an emergency.
4 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. A statement of the law in the American Law Institute's
2 Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance, does not constitute the law
3 or public policy of this state if the statement of the law is
4 inconsistent or in conflict with:
5 (1) The Constitution of the United States or the Constitution of
6 Nebraska;
7 (2) State or federal statutory law;
8 (3) This state's case law; or
9 (4) Other common law of this state.
10 Sec. 2. Since an emergency exists, this act takes effect when
11 passed and approved according to law.
