1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to state intent regarding
2 appropriations to the Department of Health and Human Services.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is included in the appropriation to the Department
2 of Health and Human Services, Agency No. 25, for Program No. 354, for
3 FY2020-21 $3,425,000 General Funds for support of child advocacy centers,
4 including direct services to child victims and caregivers and
5 facilitation of child abuse and neglect investigation teams and child
6 abuse and neglect treatment teams pursuant to sections 28-728 and 28-729.
7 It is the intent of the Legislature to continue this funding level in
8 future fiscal years.
