1 A BILL FOR AN ACT relating to appropriations; to appropriate funds to the
2 Department of Transportation.
3 Be it enacted by the people of the State of Nebraska,

1 Section 1. There is hereby appropriated $70,000 from the General
2 Fund for FY2019-20 to the Department of Transportation, Program 569.
3 It is the intent of the Legislature that such appropriation be used
4 to conduct a feasibility study to evaluate the potential transportation
5 and economic development benefits of destroying and constructing a
6 retaining wall near historic markers within a city of the metropolitan
7 class within one-half mile of the Missouri River. The department shall
8 partner on such study with a planning and development district which
9 contains a city of the metropolitan class.
