1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 15.1-13-11 of the North Dakota Century Code,
2 relating to teacher licensing fees.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 15.1-13-11 of the North Dakota Century Code is
5 amended and reenacted as follows:
6 15.1-13-11. Application and licensing fees.
7 1. The board may set and charge a fee for:
8 a. Filing an application for a teaching license.
9 b. Issuing a teaching license.
10 2. In setting the amount of a fee under subsection 1, the board may not distinguish
11 between an applicant who graduated from an in-state teacher education program and
12 an applicant who graduated from an out-of-state teacher education program.
13 3. Any fee collected by the board must be deposited and disbursed in accordance with
14 section 54-44-12.
