1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact subsection 1 of section 15.1-21-16 of the North Dakota
2 Century Code, relating to summer school courses; and to declare an emergency.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Subsection 1 of section 15.1-21-16 of the North Dakota
5 Century Code is amended and reenacted as follows:
6 1. a. Remedial mathematicsMathematics provided to students enrolled in any grade
7 from kindergarten through eight;
8 b. Remedial readingReading provided to students enrolled in any grade from
9 kindergarten through eight;
10 c. Beginning after the conclusion of the 2009-10 school calendar, mathematics
11 provided to students enrolled in any grade from five through eight;
12 d. Beginning after the conclusion of the 2009-10 school calendar, reading provided
13 to students enrolled in any grade from five through eight;
14 e. Beginning after the conclusion of the 2009-10 school calendar, scienceScience
15 provided to students enrolled in any grade from five through eight; and
16 f. Beginning after the conclusion of the 2009-10 school calendar, social
17 d. Social studies provided to students enrolled in any grade from five through eight;
18 and
19 SECTION 2. EMERGENCY. This Act is declared to be an emergency measure.
