1 A BILL for an Act to repeal section 49-09-14 of the North Dakota Century Code, relating to
2 filings of utility property transfers; and to provide for a relocation of utility property transfer files.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. REPEAL. Section 49-09-14 of the North Dakota Century Code is repealed.
5 SECTION 2. RECORDS TRANSFER. The secretary of state may relocate any utility
6 property transfer files submitted under section 49-09-14 of the North Dakota Century Code to
7 the state archives. After relocation to the state archives, the files will continue to have the same
8 effect as when the files were located in the secretary of state's office.
