1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 4.1-01.1-06 of the North Dakota Century Code,
2 relating to the required uses of the agricultural products utilization fund.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 4.1-01.1-06 of the North Dakota Century Code is
5 amended and reenacted as follows:
6 4.1-01.1-06. Agricultural products utilization fund - Purposes.
7 The agricultural products utilization fund in the state treasury must be used to fund
8 programs for agricultural research, equipment, development, processing, technology, and
9 marketing. The fund must be used to defray the expenses of the North Dakota agricultural
10 products utilization commission. Interest earned on moneys in the fund must be credited to the
11 fund.
