1 A BILL for an Act to amend and reenact section 43-25-05.1 of the North Dakota Century Code,
2 relating to reporting requirements of the board of massage therapy.
3 BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4 SECTION 1. AMENDMENT. Section 43-25-05.1 of the North Dakota Century Code is
5 amended and reenacted as follows:
6 43-25-05.1. Powers and duties of the board.
7 The board has the following powers and duties:
8 1. The board may adopt and enforce rules as necessary to implement this chapter.
9 2. The board periodically shall inspect or cause to be inspected all massage
10 establishments. The board and the board's agents may enter and inspect any
11 massage establishment at any time during which the establishment is open for the
12 transaction of business.
13 3. TheIn accordance with the guidelines established for reports under section 54-06-04,
14 the board shall prepare and submit to the governor a biennial report detailing income
15 and expenses and a list of licensed massage therapists.
16 4. The board may hire office personnel deemed necessary by the board for carrying on
17 the board's official duties and shall set the compensation to be paid to the personnel.
