1    A BILL for an Act to provide an appropriation for defraying the expenses of the office of the
2    governor; and to provide for a legislative management report.
3    BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY OF NORTH DAKOTA:
4        SECTION 1. APPROPRIATION. The funds provided in this section, or so much of the funds
5    as may be necessary, are appropriated out of any moneys in the general fund in the state
6    treasury, not otherwise appropriated, to the office of the governor for the purpose of defraying
7    the expenses of the office of the governor, for the biennium beginning July 1, 2019, and ending
8    June 30, 2021, as follows:

20       SECTION 2. ADDITIONAL INCOME - APPROPRIATION - GOVERNOR'S OFFICE -
21   LEGISLATIVE MANAGEMENT REPORT. In addition to the amounts appropriated in section 1
22   of this Act, there is appropriated to the governor's office, any additional income from federal or
23   other funds which may become available to the governor's office, for the biennium beginning
24   July 1, 2019, and ending June 30, 2021. Any funds received under this section must be used for

1   the specific purpose intended for the funds or transferred to the appropriate state agency or
2   institution. Upon the receipt of funds under this section, the governor's office shall provide a
3   report to the legislative management regarding the source, amount, and purpose of the funds
4   received.
