4 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
5 SECTION 1. G.S. 166A-19.31 reads as rewritten:
6 "§ 166A-19.31. Power of municipalities and counties to enact ordinances to deal with states
7 of emergency.

9 (e1) Notice of Expiration of Prohibitions and Restrictions. – At the time prohibitions and
10 restrictions imposed pursuant to this section and states of emergency declared pursuant to
11 G.S. 166A-19.22 expire or terminate, the municipality or county shall do the following:
12 (1) Post a notice of the expiration or termination of the prohibition or restriction
13 conspicuously on the website of the municipality or county, if the municipality
14 or county has a website.
15 (2) Submit a notice of expiration or termination of the prohibition or restriction
16 to the Department of Public Safety WebEOC critical incident management
17 system.

19 SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law and applies to prohibitions
20 and restrictions imposed and states of emergency declared on or after that date.
