Short Title: Prohibit Renaming of Fayetteville State. (Public)

3 UNIVERSITY AS ANY OTHER NAME AS A CONSTITUENT INSTITUTION OF THE
4 UNIVERSITY OF NORTH CAROLINA.
5 The General Assembly of North Carolina enacts:
6 SECTION 1. Part 2 of Article 1 of Chapter 116 of the General Statutes is amended
7 by adding a new section to read:
8 "§ 116-4.2. Prohibit redesignation of Fayetteville State University.
9 Fayetteville State University shall not be redesignated as any other name as a constituent
10 institution of The University of North Carolina."
11 SECTION 2. This act is effective when it becomes law.
