5 SECTION 1. G.S. 10B-3 reads as rewritten:
6 "§ 10B-3. Definitions.
7 The following definitions apply in this Chapter:

9 (20a) Reside legally. – Any of the following:
10 a. A citizen of the United States.
11 b. An immigrant lawfully admitted for permanent residence as defined in
12 8 U.S.C. § 1101(a)(20).
13 c. A nonimmigrant who (i) entered the United States with permission
14 under a nonimmigrant status and (ii) is currently authorized to work in
15 the United States.
